4th at the Olympic Elite/U23 Triathlon Nationals
Down-to-earth and without the opportunity knocking at my door today I will know have to build a door on the off season. I finished 4th place behind tremendous athletes and should/must be happy with it. I thought the swim was extremely fast and there were athletes all over the place just trying to stay in route. I exited water between groups (the leaders and the chasers) and was left alone all the way. 40 Km of individual time trial thru T2 and off to the run. The run had many corners and with a decent lead over the chasers I just cruised to finish line. Bruno had his day and won with a minute in hand over João Silva and Duarte Marques. Things went exactly how I predicted and I honestly can't ask for more right now. I have a lot to swim this winter and I look forward to it. Actually I was very happy for João's performance. He's hugely talented and a great training partner and so I hope he stays around for a long time and that this result gets enough motto for him to face the off-season.

Time to rest and reflect on the season.
Has someone once said, "to get in shape you first need to get out if it!"...well it's time for the second part now! ;)
BTW, congratulations. You had a very solid race.
Yes, congratulations! You've accomplished your goals for this season!
But don't forget to keep writing here about work-outs and whatever comes to your mind :)))
